산(山)이 높이(宗) 솟음=숭고

'여호와는 모든 나라 위에 높으시며 그의 영광은 하늘 위에 높으시도다'(시 113:4). '지극히 높고 거룩한 곳에 사는 자가 또한 통회하고 겸손한 자와 함께 있나니'(사 57:15). 참된 높임은 하나님 앞에서의 겸손에서 나온다.

山(뫼 산) + 宗(마루 종) — 산(山)이 종묘(宗)처럼 높이 솟은 모습. 경외와 존경을 불러일으키는 숭고함
